Today like many is the beginning of a new journey, Cub Scouts.
How do we raise a boy in this day and age?
What is the full potential of a boy that is only 7 years old?
With guidance of friends, family and God almighty, we have a chance to help develop our son into a wonderful human being.
As parents it is a struggle each day to raise a sensitive, compassionate, strong and healthy boy who can rise to his full potential. Having children one realizes as a parent one's on faults and personal struggles, yet there is always hope for doing better each day.

Today is a very hopeful day as we make new friends and work to serve God and country.

The First Piano Lesson

Ok, I will blog, I will blog, 2009, a year for beginning blogging.

Yesterday, a whole world of music was opened up to us via Nicholas's first piano lesson.

It was a great session. Nicholas, age 7 has been wanting to learn to play the piano for sometime.

He received a keyboard for his 7th birthday, and although not quite a piano, the closest thing to it for now to see how serious his interests are before we go further. A good friend offered lessons. The whole day was inspirational.
